To fish on the Liverpool dock you must have a pass,this means that you must have insurance to do so.To obtain insurance you must join the angling trust.When angling trust send your membership card out you will have a membership number,(this is your insurance).You then need to go to the POLSAF website,POLSAF is Port of Liverpool sea angling federation all the rest of the information is on there,you must send your insurance off to the secretary of POLSAF then they will then arrange for you to go in person to get your photo took for your pass at Port Police in Seaforth.

Memberships/Insurance for Angling Trust is £20.00 for adults and £5.00 for juniors per year

Individual members can now fish the docks in pairs only,instead of joining a S.A.C

In 3 Steps (for individual members)

- Join Angling Trust for £20,for insurance/membership,and wait for your card to arrive with membership number

- Contact the POLSAF Secretary by e-mail along with your membership number and tell them you want an individual dock pass

- POLSAF will then arrange an appointment with the Port Police at Seaforth to get a photo for your dock pass
