| This venue is the same place as the rock channel, but instead of going to the left of the groin you just go to the right and fish of the sandbank fishing the tide down to low and maybe an hour up. Fishing here is mainly for the plaice and the flounder, but you do get the odd smoothhound coming down. If you fish this venue i would use 1up 1down rigs with size 2s/1s hooks with some beads on to attract the fish, the better baits are blacklug,ragworm,and fresh peeler, but tipping of with some macky or squid will help as well.   |
